Storm resources and relief
What to do during a storm, and where to find help after one.
During a storm
Get to your basement or lowest interior room, away from windows.
Do not shelter under an overpass.
If you are outdoors, lie flat in a low ditch away from trees.
Keep a NOAA Weather Radio on hand and keep it charged. It works when the power and your phone signal do not.
If someone is injured, call 911.
